For me the landmark speech that has been presented on JFK..inaugural speech by yaya,amalina,julie,jay,lutfi and kak wahida was really interesting. The way they organize the speech and role play that they acted were running smoothly and match with the JFK speech. Actually, I like your tags!
SPEECH STYLE
The inaugural speech by JFK has powerful content, well-organized, and a lot of beautiful words. It actually was being written fully with a sense of leadership that really concern on his citizens. He putted a lot of advices that completely for his citizen to be an active citizen in supporting his leadership and struggle for a goodness of everyone. In addition, he choose beautiful words like “hand of God” and "rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation" that make the speech listen interesting and touch the citizen’s heart.
OPINION ON BACKGROUND OF THE SPEECH
JFK speech full with spiritual, motivational and enthusiasm modes. It encourages the
American to be a citizen that always struggle for freedom and justice in the country. In
the speech also motivate the citizen to play their roles in order to bring peace for the
lovely land. In addition, as he said “ask not what your country can do for you but ask
what you can do for your country” and “ask not what America will do for you, but what
together we can do for the freedom of man”, he influence the spirit of active citizen to the
American. Furthermore, the speech also mentioned the way on how every party should
play their roles in order to stand for a freedom in the country. What important that JFK
want to show in the speech was how he really concern on his citizens and want them to
be together in achieving peace, harmony and justice in the country.
OPINION ON THE PERSONALITY
JFK became a 35th President of United State on January 20, 1961 after he defeated Nixon. From my opinion, he was a good leadership which as we can see, he always concerned for his citizen more than his power. His nature of leadership was clearly shown in his past time event where he sacrificed himself in order to face the difficulties and hazards of darkness to direct rescue operations while he involved in United State Naval Service. Moreover, his outstanding courage, endurance and leadership contributed to the saving of several lives and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service.
